Jonathan Ross returns to our TV screen tonight ?

  • Jonathan Ross at last returns to our screen tonight (10.30 BBC1) after his short period ban by the BBC hierarchy after the Ross/Brand answerphone message saga. Personally I only really watch 'Friday Night with Jonathan Ross' because my girlfriend watches it, and have always found him a bit hit and miss as an interviewer, though some of the celebs he has on are class acts (recently Tony Curtis and Grace Jones were tops). I'm also nonplussed about the phone message thing as it seems all concerned, even to so called victim, sought publicity out of the gimmick. But what say you. Did Ross/Brand phone message turn you of one or either ? like me, could you really not care less ? at the end of the day are you going to watch Ross' show for the celebs (ie tonight is Stephen Fry and Lee Evans) regardless of what you think of Ross ? i don't like ross he is infantile and smutty he needs to grow up ....a man of fifty acting like a teenager is quite pathetic and i will not be watching him i like stephen fry but not enough to endure the meaningful looks to camera ross insists on doing ....... on his show it is not about the guests .....it is all about him

Ive never liked JR I think he's a one trick pony and his interviews are embarrassing, the whole thing got blown out of proportion though. I think a lot of people are bored of him and used it as an excuse to attack the bloke, which wasn't really fair.

I don't soil my mind with the likes of Jonathan Ross and his foul language and innuendo. He is an example of what's wrong with this country and I think that Andrew Sachs is a gentleman, as opposed to a man.

Andrew Sachs did get some publicity from it, but why not? As for Wossy, he should have followed Brand's example and walked, or faced the sack. Brand is just simply loud mouth, vile, and not funny. Wossy is also a vile loud-mouth. His gratuitous swearing on telly is a matter for concern, and the Beeb need to call time on this kind of crass programming.

I don't really care less about the whole Jonathon Woss story because after all, the girl was a prostitute anyway and if she was so 'hurt', then why did she go to the media straight away? No he shouldn't have done it, but all that saga just for that? A bit pointless in my opinion. I have never really been a Woss fan anyway simply because I can't stand his haircut and the way he talks. Sorry, but it really does irritate me.
