Could you give me vocal advice?

Are you scared to answer? Or do you just not know how to give advice? Need advice on how to give advice...??

  • Why is it almost 100% of the time I ask a question I get one or more people criticizing me for asking that question, or being in this situation, or criticizing my spelling, grammer, punctuation.. whatever.. I'M ASKING FOR ADVICE HERE NOT TO BE TREATED LIKE A CHILD OR AN IDIOT!! I'M NOT ASKING FOR PERSONAL BELITTLEMENT BY THE AVERAGE PERSON WHO IS MISRIBLE WITH HIS/HER LIFE AND THE ONLY WAY OF MAKING THEMSELF FEEL BETTER IS BY PLACING JUDEMENT ON ME... I am not asking for your judgement! I really dont care what you think of me!! Just for once I would like some advice instead of someone trying to put me down for living my life the way I live it.. If you dont know how to give advice..here's some advice.. Put your own opinions aside and put youself in that persons shoes think what it must be like to be them then think what would I do if I was them?..I also noticed when I do get advice its filled with so much negitivity! Are there no positive people on here who know know how to give advice?

    I am sick of negative advice also. I think that people get obsessed with the point system and just want to answer. There is a big difference between even useless answers and negative downright mean answers. Good luck with everything. I assure you that I will give you positive advice to the best of my ability. HAVE A GREAT DAY and YOU ARE RIGHT TO POST THIS.

when i read a serious question i respond with a serious answer. i'm sorry that you have not gotten helpful advice. usually when i post questions I try to express how much trouble i am having with the problem and how helpful it would be for people to reply with serious and thoughtful advice. more often than not, that does the trick. i think sometimes when people read questions that are not well thought out and are difficult to understand because of errors they get caught up on the small stuff and forget about the problem. good luck...

Maybe we think the question is stupid, or has been asked a million times already in the same format. Or maybe we're just irritated at the fact that we have to translate it to English instead of the asker just pressing spellcheck. I'm perfectly happy with my life, and yes, I'm one of those that criticizes for bad writing, because there's a spellcheck. It's there, and you know if you're spelling all whacked out, so why not use it? I just come on here for entertainment. i don't criticize... I just ask that you use spellcheck. Is that so much to ask??

No, I'm not scared to give advice. I'll choose which question I can answer to benefit the requirer. It depends on the situation, the urgency, the practicality of the questions itself. If I think the question is reasonable, then I'll answer to the best of my knowledge. If I cannot give a decent answer for a positive outcome, I don't waste anybody's time.
