Can someone help me find information on this murder case ?

  • Today a man at a bar that my parents know cofessed to them that he'd spent 8 years in prison for murdering a man in illinois. I don't know what city it was in, but i know it was in a bad, run down city. They call him "chico" but they don't think that's his real name. He said that he'd tortured the man for 3 days in his basement before killing him because the man was a child molester who had kept and tortured a young girl in his basement for 3 days. After the man was dead, he said he called 911 and cofessed right away. Now he lives in Ohio, but im not sure how long ago it happened. He spent 8 years in prison and was let out for good behavior. That's all the information i have about it... i wanted to find the story online and read about it but i can't find anything about it.

He is either lying about his history or he could possibly be lying that he was convicted. I am fearful that he may have done this and had to tell someone but was NOT arrested and got away with it. I would stay away from him, even if he is a liar, he isn't mentally stable. I can find no cases as well.
