With this latest North Korea crises one has to wonder. Why is it wrong for North Korea to have weapons but->?

Well, they launched them. There's your first problem. Into another country. There's your second. And they refused to let South Korea seach their ships after being suspected of possesing WMDs. There's your third.

The US and developed world want nuclear technology to stop spreading to other countries and areas. North Korea could sell this technology or even a bomb to rouge terrorist groups, who would be more than happy to use it against a US city. The policy of mutually assured destruction does not work when a nuke is in the hands of a terrorist group that has infiltrated into the fabric of nations in which we have peace with. Clearly if Hamas or whoever used a nuke in an American city, the US cannot wipe Gaza or Iran or whoever off the map, because it is no true country to blame. The terrorist cells exist in a lot of countries, even in Europe. The US is worried, and with good cause, about nuclear proliferation. It would be better if not one device existed in the world. But obviously this is not the reality.

Simply, that's called 'double standard' policy. It's also called US arrogance.

America can keep nuclear weapons for defense, israel can keep, but you see North Korea and Iran can't keep.

I bow to you sir. I've had said for a very long time that it makes no sense for both the government and US individuals to worry about WMD when their own country has well more than half the world's stockpile and to boot, the guy who sat on the trigger for 8 years was probably of a lower than average intelligence. Really, don't you think your candidates for presidency should take an IQ, ethics and personality test??
