Is Tamil Nadu worst affected State due to power failure than other States of India?

  • May I know what is the time of ""Official"" Power cut??? Whether it is for 2 hours or more ??? For the last 10 days, we, the people in Southern Districts are reeling under unannounced power cut of more than 3 hours in day time and unknown timings during night. The power minister never attended the on going Assembly meeting whereas another Minister Durai Murugan is answering the questions and says the power cut in TN is far less comparing to other States in India. Is it not TOTAL ARROGANCE"" by the present Govt ???? May I know your views on this ????

    My questions to those brilliant ministers: 1.kamarajar the great politician who is a tamilan, didn't have had any property with him. He had some shirts and dhoti's with him as his only property. So are those ministers ready to lead a simple life like him? Are those ministers ready to serve the people like kamarajar without any corruptions, mass self advertisements,etc,etc? 3. Shall I ask them not to marry like kamarajar for serving the people without any family partiality. 4.kamarajar got a chance to become prime minister, but he gave it to Indragandhi. Will those ministers also ready to do so if they got a bigger opportunity? Note- if those politicians are ready to say yes for above questions, then I am also ready to accept this power cut by comparing the other state.

IDK about that but I've been told that its worse in other states Having said that it doesnt mean that whatever our TN Govt is doing can be justified by any degree

Mahashtra says exactly the same, and UP also says the same, more or less every state says the same. Desi boy, you know the reason for that right? Don't you? Korba & Bilaspur both the major power hubs went to Chhattisgarh after partition of state. And today, where Chhattisgarh has electric surplus and supplies electric to other states, MP has major electric shortage.

Well!!!!!!!!! As per Govt. sources, Tamil Nadu is facing a power shortage of 3,700 MW and efforts are on to overcome the crisis. Also, officially, the Govt has announced the following time for daily power cuts in Tamil Nadu: Chennai - 2 hrs Other Cities/ Urban Areas - 2.5 hrs Rural Areas - 3 hrs But, it is surely more!!! (Yesterday, on 07/04, I think it was around 4.5 hrs in Valliyoor!!)
