What does it mean to have dreams about your ex?

What does it mean if I keep having dreams about my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend being best friends with me?

• Okay, so I had two dreams that are basically the same and I can't explain it... Both dreams are of me and my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend talking like we were just conversing about simple things!!! It's ironic because I don't even like her or talk to her. The first dream I had like a week ago, and it was me and her sitting down at a table in the cafeteria at lunch just talking about the most random things, and then my boyfriend's at the opposite side of the table and he was just there alone, and I went to talk to him and he got mad at me? And she and I were trying to calm him down? And then the one I had last night was that me and her went together to the NJIT program I go to on Saturdays, and then we had a trip to the NYC Museum of Natural History, and we were talking together like best friends there and we were so bored we were like "UGH is there anything else we can see in this place?" And I said there was, so we sneaked out from where the whole group was and we went to see what else there was and then we were laughing because we were doing it all like super ninja style and me and her were just cracking up... What does this even mean???
