How come my boss expect too much from me?
-
How can I tell her to slow her rope
-
Answer:
I have learned this the hard way, the more you give, the more you expect. Its crazy, u wanna help but they take advantage. But anyways, just start little by little to get the work lighter. Then be open with her about YOUR feelings. You have a right to a life too

If you are being given too much work the phrase that you MUST say straight away is: "WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE ME NOT TO DO, TO BE ABLE TO GET THIS DONE?" It then makes them think about the work already pushed on you, and also makes them decide if this new task is a priority or not. Any boss you have dealings with will always need to be handled very carefully. Using this phrase is a very polite way of saying - hey, 'I've already got loads to do and I'm struggling with that. If you give me any more I will just crumble or my own well-being is in jeopardy. It is your boss' job to have a duty of care towards the well-being of employees - AT ALL TIMES.

having been a manager for over 20 years, it's been my experience that you go with the person that gets you the results. I was guilty of this on occasion. Then it was brought to my attention by another employee and I had to take a hard look at my management style. If you do nit want to confront your boss, let one of your friends mention it in passing.

I am a employer & I expect you to earn the money I pay you. I expect you to do the job I hired you for to the best of your ability. I only ask that you come to work on time, take breaks only when you are intitled to, For following those rules I will pay you a fair hourly wage. That is all I ask. That is all most employers ask.

don't you work for her? if you think she expects too much, find a new job

Better pack your bags, honey. If you can't live up to the boss's expectations, then you don't belong there. It would probably work out for everyone involved if you left and let her hire someone more qualified.
