Is it okay for a girl to ask a guy out?

Is it werid for a girl to ask a guy out??! I think I like this one guy. Guys what do you think to?!!?

  • Ok so im literally at the store Rite Aid 4 times out of the week, I'm there all the time picking up something. Theres this guy who works there and I always see him. He usually rings me up there and so he knows me, not by name but ya know on like talking bases like hey how are u doing today, so what time u workin till, like that. Anyways I like him, oh and im 18 by the way. Anyways is it werid for a girl to ask a guy to get together??? is that werid bc usually its the opposite, the guy asks a girl. I dont even know what I would say though!! Anyone have any advice if I did ask him, and would it be ok if I did u think?? I dont know him personally but he knows me l bc I'm always in there buying something. I need advice please! Like maybe cause its getting nicer out I could say something about maybe grabbing a coffee or somthin at the mall... or somethin idk! oh and f.y.i. i've never had a boyfriend so I dont know how to ask him bc I dont hang around guys, I have some guy friends like in class at college but mostly I have friends that are girls

    I used to get asked by girls and I loved it. It's not weird - it's totally cool. If you feel weird about it, make it a fun simple outing rather than a "date". Asking him to the mall for a coffee is perfect. You could say "I was thinking it might be fun if we got a coffee or something at the mall - what do you think?" On the other hand I've seen girls be much more forward and it can be very attractive - and maybe you'd like to do that. You could say "I come here sometimes to see you", wait for him to regain his composure and say "and I'd like to see you outside of here. Do you want to have a coffee or something at the mall?" The words you use aren't that important, just make them reflect your personality and speak your mind. I wouldn't throw a phone number at him without making a plan - I would never call a girl who did that.

Look pretty simple. You've already established a base with him anyway by talking to him when you go by there. Just say say what time do you get off tonight. Then say I'm going to be at the coffee shop (for example), here's my number call me or swing by if you want.

I think it depends on your age. Since your 18 it would be okay. At my middle school it would be weird and people would talk about you or it. That's just because younger people are immature though. The older you are the more normal. Hope I helped
