Would foster care be an option?

How can I ask my mom about Foster Care?

  • Just for a short time, maybe like a month or so. But, how can I tell her? She wouldn't take me seriously and would probably laugh it off. She isn't abusive or anything, but my two sisters cause most of my pain. One is 16 and one is 20, they both mentally abuse me and are VERY immature. They aren't nice to me, and they start causing trouble with me for no reason at all. We all have anger issues. we get it from my dad who wants nothing to do with us. I hear my two sisters talking about me when I am trying to sleep or just waking up. It really, really hurts. I'm a 13 year old kid in Maryland. I have no friends whatsoever(everyone here still hasn't matured and they don't understand the situation I am in, as they laugh or make fun of me). I want to be anywhere but here, but no one would understand it. How can I ask my mom about Foster Care? And what are Foster Cares like? And if Foster Care isn't an option, what could I do or where could I go? Please answer, thanks.

  • Answer:

Talk to your school teacher or school counselor, I know school has not started yet in every town but it will here in the next few weeks so hold on tight until then. You can also try talking to your mom one on one and see how that goes I would defiantly recommend that step first. As for foster care you can forget about that because if you think you are miserable now you will be more so there.
