Does true love really exist?

  • My parents have been marries for like 30 years and sometimes I wonder if they still love each other. It makes me question of true love really exists. Like my sister has been in a lotta crapp relationships and given up hope that she'll ever find true love. I sometimes wonder if there is someone out there 4 me. I'm a bit of a loner but I really do want somebody someday. But is it really possib;e to meet someone, fall in love and stay in love 4ever without it fading away. Wut if that's all that life is is people getting 2gether, staying 2gether 4 a little bit then they just get tired of each other. I'm kinda confused. Thanks 4 the answers.

    Don't get discouraged. It does exist, it just takes time to find the person that will make you completely happy. Your parents are normal. The thing with a happy relationship is it takes work to keep it fabulous. Picture having a really nice sports car. If you don't wash it and wax it and do all of the mechanical work required to keep it running smooth, eventually is going to look and run like a piece of junk. Everybody loves a new car, not a lot of people like putting in all the work to keep it that way....

No one knows what true love is, but I do know that in this world, there are people who find a best friend who they would give their life to, or trust their life in. For me, that is love.

yes dear true love does exists... and you meet you special person when you least expect.. As it is said best things in life happens accidentally... Most of the time two people loving each other truly don't get together.. sometimes its society and other obligations.. sometimes God takes one of them away... but it does exists.. I am in one.. He is my true love but we won't be together for always... reason in my case is society and family...

I always LOL over this 'true love' stuff because it never mentions exactly HOW TO DO IT. If we discuss piano playing or tennis or fishing, etc. most of the conversations would be about HOW it's done and HOW to develope the skills and techniques involved in those activities BUT NEVER about HOW TO MAKE a good relationship! re: But is it really possib;e to meet someone, fall in love and stay in love 4ever without it fading away. >> Yes! But it's more likely that after you meet and fall, you will need to know how or at least learn how to stay in love and prevent it from fading away. That takes skills and KNOWLEDGE - just like playing tennis or the piano. This 'knowledge' should have come from your parents but it usually has to be learned outside of the home because you parents do not know how or ever found a need to learn how. Yes i really think it does i mean its not always happy and a good feeling but sometimes you get really mad at someone but you have a feeling deep down that you dont really hate them. and thats when you know..its when you dont care about anything else when youre with that one person. like nothing else in the world matters. its the one person that doesnt care what your wearing or what you look like and then you know youre in love.
