When talking about financial situation of a business?

PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR OPINIONS!!!!!!!It's a touchy situation?

• Don't comment on my grammar because i tried my best to put it together. ok, im going to give the highlights of this touchy situation... my husband and i having been together for 10yrs, married 7. when my husband and i were planing our wedding in(2000)we had already had the catering hall(down-payment) my wedding dress was already picked..etc i had invited his family over for thanksgiving dinner(i really thought these ppl were great)anyhow during the evening the girls were sitting and talking BS i had mentioned to his brother girlfriend something funny that HIS sister told me about..that's its better to get a man to marry you within the 1st 2 yrs of dating since after 2 yrs most men don't see the point. she turned around the next day and told my MIL how offended she was with what i said. needless to say his brother called my husband and they argued. without hearing my side of the story my MIL took her side and tried to belittle and made nasty comments about the wedding i was planing and that it's HER son that deserves a wedding and not me she also said that she will attend to be there for her son against her wishes.she also passed comments on my son who is mentally challenge and that she hopes her and i don't have kids "since there are not retards in her family" her words. i got angry and called of our wedding and we stop talking for a while. after the death of his cousin his family and i spoke again at the funeral. yrs went by and everything seemed to be ok. i helped them get an apartment above me(biggest mistake of my life!!) not even 3months went by when the MIL staring getting into our bussiness. anyhow my husband and i got into a huge arguement over my son and they heard everything. MIL told my husband that his sister is goiing to physically attack when she sees me.and she did. i took out an restraining order against her and my husband and i almost divorced over this. i was so angry with him because i felt he didn't stand up for me. all this could have been prevented if my husband would have stand up and spoken instead he just let it happened. ok, so odviously his family and i don't speak.his brother went to him when we were at war and for sure we thought we were going to split and asked him to be a groomsman at his wedding nd my husband said yes. we worked things out and my husband didn't tell anything about the wedding until a few months ago. i feel angry because i always dreamed of having a wedding but i didn't want with so much confliction so i settled and got married at city hall. my husband told me that if he(brother) would have asked after we worked things we would never went out of respect to me but since he already told him yes there's no turning back. bottom line is that these ******** ppl ruined everything and almost caused my marriage and for him to attend this event bothers me so much! i can't stand it! i told my husband he should have for once stand up and said NO and withdraw himself from it. they're not even close! 3 hours ago when we decided that we were going to work things out he did tell his family that it better be the last time they into our business and that no matter what they say he wants to be with me and our kids. i just felt it was too little too late since they had already disrespected me and he only did this out of fear of losing me 3 hours ago we are all in our late 30's and early 40's and what happened was so childish 3 hours ago by NO means do i believe that a woman should force a man to marry her. it was just a JOKE!! and we all laughed about it, including the men. 3 hours ago one more thing to add: the wound is still fresh since the attack happened last yr 3 hours ago @ curious me, I was not invited
