Are there any stock photo companies in Manila?

Anyone else here assume when someone puts a stock photo in their avatar?

  • ...that the person that put it up must not be very attractive? I'm not talking about those little avatars that people create, although I suppose it could apply there too. I see the point of putting up an attractive photo. Its just that when the photo is obviously a stock photo, I imagine that person is really ugly/lumpy, or really a man pretending to be a woman. Ever see that commerical where a woman's voice is talking seductively as something is being typed...the the camera pans out to a fat guy in a greasy wife beater? That is what I imagine when I see a stock photo. Not saying this is the case. But for some reason that is what comes to mind. My husband often flirts with the ones with suggestive stock photos, and I can't help but laugh.

    Yes, especially the ones that have some hot looking, CGI vixen from a video game. I often wonder if those people weigh about 789 lbs and need to have the walls removed from their house by a crane every time they want to jaunt down to the local McDonald's.

Wow 5 of my studly contacts answered your questions Angie. It doesn't matter to me what they look like. It may sound crazy but, I enjoy their wonderful punctuation and good use of grammer even though mine sucks. I need a lesson! I do like my avatar and I think she is hot.

I agree, but as a former flaming head, I had to put my real picture up due to all the women thinking I was some young hot stud, as soon as I put my real picture up, it all stopped, (sigh,,,). I think I need to go back to my flaming head,,,lol.

I don't know. It may be for different reasons. Maybe some want encourage flirting. I notice that men tend to pick cartoon characters or flaming skulls. Women seem to like models in lingerie.

well i would say you are right or they dont know how to post a picture or put one on there pc to post, avatars are kind of fun to play with, i would rather look at an avatar and get a laugh cos some are really funny looking, so are the real pics that some post, than see an pic that someone is tring to impress the women with or they just think they are so hot and studly looking that we are blessed that they posted it for us to see, give me a break

Well, at least people can see that my dogs are attractive. But, yes, I know what you mean. I love when they have the "Do you think I'm hot" questions and their avatar is really cute but when you click on the picture you're like "AHAHAHA" But, that's just me.
