How To Learn American Accent?

Hey guys can someone give me tips on how to learn American accent HERE?

I have tried finding something in the google but they all have charges, u may call me stingy but i dont wanna pay to learn American accent if i can get the lesson free....can anyone give me some tips on how to go about it...

you know.. if you can watch some American movies i s'pose thats better than nothing... you have to choose a particular state's accent though!! Decisions, decisions... If you do decide to get some pro help, i recommend a speech therapist/ pathologist - they can do some great work with accent modification! oh - another thing - search for sound files online - sometimes there's free american radio stations that broadcast across the net.. listen often to them and i'm sure you'll start picking things up - that's cheap enough! I've used this idea to learn french and it was pretty effective actually!! best of luck
