Can two Indians get married in Germany, and will that be valid in India?

Hello, I am an Indian muslim working in Germany. My girlfriend is an Indian hindu studying in Germany. As we belong to different religions we have faced lot of resistence from our familes on our marriage. So we were thinking of getting married in Germany? Just wanted to confirm if such kind of marriages can be solomised in germany and whether it will be considered valid in India? If yes, what is the process of getting married in Germany? Thanks, Irepa
