Does Anyone know anything about the Ct Towing Law?

Anyone know the details of the new divorce law in Canada where one person can held responsible??

• We're in a mess. My bf was still living with (but not sharing a room or anything with her for two years before that) his wife when we started dating. Three weeks later, he moved out. Now, she's had me investigated (I don't have a dark past) and knows all my friends and family and is bent on taking him to court to prove our relationship started before they were separated. They were separated, I guess, just still living in the same house. He can't prove that as he was sleeping on the couch, not in a 'room of his own'. She wants him held accountable for the separation and the old law where the reason for the divorce didn't matter has been scrapped. Does anyone know anything about this law? Is he royally screwed before even starting? What could he lose, potentially? They have two young kids.
