Changing name after marriage?

I am getting married this weekend but never looked into the whole name changing process till now. I am taking his name and don't know what I will need to do. Obviously everything that I have my name on... examples... lease, car,insurance, Drivers licence, ect...... How many certified copies do I need to get of my marriage licence, or should I get? I know social security returns the docs but what about everything else? Do I need my birth certificate to change anything or is my DL and passport ok? I am getting married out of the state that I reside in which is why I want to know how many copies I need so I don't have to go back there and get them if I need additional copies... Any more advice would be appreciated to a new to be wife!!!
Answer:

I only have one certified copy of my marriage license. I took the ML personally to the Social Security office and DMV to change the SS card and driver's license, everything else just used those two things. You don't need your birth certificate as that information is not changing.
