How To Get Him To Propose?

How can I get my boyfriend to propose marriage to me?

  • He says he sees a future with me and when I pretended I'm moving out of town in a few months to see his reaction he asked if he could move with me. We're in our late 30s together almost a year. A few months ago he suggested we live together but I said not until we marry. How can I get him to want to propose? I don't want to pressure him or have to straight up ask. I don't want to get stringed along at my age either with my clock ticking.

You don't want to be strung along, but you're playing little girl games like "pretending" you're going to move. Grow up, act like a woman and simply ask him if he sees marriage to you in your future. Your late 30's is a bit old to be playing 13 year old drama games.

You aren't ready for marriage...you're pretending to do things to manipulate him...you want him to propose, but you won't talk about marriage with him... If your clock is ticking, then cut him loose and move on to someone who is on the same page as you...your urgency to marry is NOT a good match for someone who doesn't feel the same need...

I really am trying to figure the same. I responded because I did the live in thing. N its going on 3yrs together n 1yr living. Its hard to get a commitment. Iam giving mines a DEADLINE to get married. If not iam just gonna get my own place NOT breakup. whatever you decide is STILL YOUR CHOICE. Ultimatum I say.
