How to get over your close guy friend whose dating your best friend when you have a crush on your guy friend.?

  • So me and this close guy friend have been friends for about 5 years now, me and my best friend have been close for 3 years. I introduced both of them as a joke because they were both into the same band and I was trying to see who knew more about the band. Turns out they both start talking and got really close. It was obvious my best friend liked my close guy friend because she would always talk about him; but I ignored it. I've never really noticed I liked my close guy friend until a few months back, of course me being me I didn't say anything only because it would be kind of weird between us. We were in that whole "friend zone" thing. Anyway I noticed that he liked her too, but I also ignored it. Until my best friend text me about him last night, I asked her if she liked him and she said yes. I asked my guy friend if he liked her and he said yes. So I got them together. I try covering it up and acting happy for them two to everyone but its tearing me apart. Im not sure how to get over him.I never would have thought it would bother me this badly. I want to get over him so it will be less awkward between us. Plus Im in a relationship which makes it worse. I want to just be "friends" with my close guy friend and get closer to him again; but im not sure how. Help please!! Thank you.

Keita ( Pretty name! ) the same thing happen to me. I started liking my best guy friend and so did my best friend. I thought he was going to ask me out but he asked her. You just have to except the fact that ur only his friend and tht he now has a girlfriend whos ur bestfriend and u have to respect their relationship. It will be hard but uve got a boyfriend of ur own so just pay attention to him :) Try talking to a friend tht u trust about it. Ull probably get jealous when u see ur best guy frend and ur friend together but just be happy for her and be happy for urself becuz u probably have a great boyfriend too :) Hope i Helped ~ Teegan
