What are some good topics to talk about on the phone?

  • I'm 15, and I'm a very boring person, and most people that are on the phone hang up within 5 minutes, but now I have been talking to someone that I have not spoken with in a few months. What are some good topics to talk about? Note: We talked tonight for 2 hours, but it was basically talking about everything that has happened within a few months

First the past, now the present and when that wears thin go to the future or even current events in your life or theirs. OK, there is always the weather

Talk about goals and dreams look up some of your favorite things here on the internet and talk about that if you chat talk about a new person you met same thing with games and websites. Maybe if the other person has internet you can play a game together or chat with him/her that way the silence is not noticeable

idk im that way too if i have nothing to say then i just start singing or asking very random and sometimes personal questions hahahahaha so idk no convo with me is the same im too random we should talk and be boring peoplz or boring friends hahaha

I feel your pain, sometimes those silent moments just get a bit repetitive! You should bring up current issues if you're desperate, maybe talk about school, friends, music, things that you've both got in common. Eg, if you both play the violin you could ramble on about that for half an hour..
