What does 'everything happens for a reason' mean?

Any thoughts about"[every thing happens for a reason?"]?

right now i havent been very happy,mmm we all probably said stuff that wasnt true,but there when we said it,we were so sure...i've lost two friends,i thought that we'd always be friends...but im not sure what happend...'forever seemed to be a lie...an the reasons are stupid,,,but somehow they end up hurting me....an so this time..im not going to try saving either friendship...if i end up losing them forever well then it happens..."everything happpens for a reason"right?sorry this is really bleh....an i want toughts about that quote/term....what does it mean to you?""*sorry for incorrect spelling**

everything happpens for a reason" is correct form a cause and effect standpoint but thats it. Reflect on what has happened and use it as a learning experience... you will be stronger in the end all the best to you
