Why don't friends answer my facebook messages I send them?

• Most of my friends on facebook will respond to facebook messages I send them, but a few never return emails I send them on facebook, why? They confirmed me as a friend on facebook, but they never will return the emails I send them on facebook, why? One friend I have tried emailing him five seperate times and he responds to none of my messages over facebook why? A couple of friends I haven't spoken to in over 10 years since we were little kids, but still you would think they would respond to an email message I send them through facebook? Any thoughts why some friends won't respond to messages you send them?

  They don't reply either because they haven't read it yet or they don't want to talk to you. If they have read it but see that you've sent it 5 times then they could think you're creepy. As for your friends you haven't talked to in ten years, they may reply unless they don't remember you but then again you won't know unless you try.
