Help & Advice Needed With Go Karting?

Help me Please with this problem, advice needed pronto-should i go?

  • OK it's January right now. In June there's a trip to Germany. We obviously have to pay beforehand. To stay for 5 DAYS. Now i'm 14 year old female. And i am really really close to my mum. She means the world to me, literally. And i really want to go and all, but i just haven't stayed without my mum ANYWHERE, not even at a relative's house. Now you might think this girl is really old and is probably mentally retarded, needed her mother at this age still. But i love my mum alot. my best friends are going on the trip. And i will miss out loads and i will regret going But then again what if i start missing her like mad and start crying for her?-Although i think i will be able to control it. But what if? I mean then, i will be saved from the humiliation if i don't go. I;ve never been a single day without my mum. anywhere, Now i need your opinion do you think i'll be able to manage? Do you think when i get there i'll be distracted by the amazing chocolate factory, theme park..

its ok not to worry, now the thing is you could think of this as the ideal opportunity to gain some independance and maybe get into the habit of being ok without your mum. being without her doesnt mean that you dont care, or your not capable. if you start getting worried or anxious it ends up making it more difficult for yourself. be a little confident or maybe even talk to your mum about it! plan your trip so your busy and your minds kept of being sick! and trust me 5 days will go pass sooo quick! think about it one day will be taken up with the travelling and unpacking/packing etc! so in effect its only 4days! you can talk to your mum via fone before you go to sleep and when you wake up! and dont worry about your friends if their really your true buddies im sure they'll understand otherwise they arent really your buddies at all are they! hope all goes well and dont worry too much chuck!

You have to go and enjoy the experience - I went to Paris with my school many years ago and the first couple of nights I was homesick but then I started to enjoy it and had such good fun. My daughter is going to South Africa for 10 days in July and she felt the same but it is an experience of a lifetime. Your mum will be there for you when you come home.

Have you ever traveled by yourself? It would be a great experience for you and it would be good for you to see another part of the world on your own. As scary as it might sound you'll be away from home on your own before you know it and parents won't always be around. Do it! You'll have a great time and you can come back and tell your mom all about it.

you should go it will do you good your 14 now and its understandable your nervous but in a couple of years your gonna have to deal with it anyway go have fun its not as bad as you think =)

Firstly i don't think you're abnormal at all, and anyone who does is just silly. It's great that you're so close to your mum, as i am to mine too. But - I think you should definitely go on this trip. It's only 5 days and you'll have a great time once you're there.

If you let fear rule you, you will miss out on a lot of great experiences in your life. I think this is a great opportunity for you to become more independent. You can call her once or twice when you are there and she will be there when you get home. GO!
