Where's my mail package?

Post office delivery 5 days over due, didnt even deliver any mail today?

• This is ridiculous, I ordered an order off of Amazon shipped with 1-6 day standard shipping. They shipped it out on July 16, meaning at maximum the shipment should have arrived by July 22. Tracking the package it left the local distribution center July 25th (Saturday) so i should have only recieved it 3 days late. I assume it didnt get out soon enough for the trucks to mail it, so i figured it would come today (Monday the 27th). No mail was delivered today for my entire neighborhood, (neighbors who had the flag up on their mailbox are still up so that confirms this). What is the deal with the post office, wheres my package... ?

  I would relax a bit, perhaps your neighborhood mail delivery is late today. Sometimes things happen that can slow down your home delivery, heavy mail loads, mechanical problems, sick or substitute carriers regardless there will be a delivery in your area today. Your item was probably sent parcel post from Amazon and often these items require 5~7 working days. If you tracked your item to the local mail facility in your area, you should have it on the next working day which would be today. If not you can call your local Post Office to verify if there was delivery and if not why.
