Who delivered the Gettysburg's address?

UPS package delivered to wrong address, is it legal to open it?

  • So, my sister sent me a UPS package. But it was delivered to the wrong address. She checked to make sure that it wasn't her fault, and it wasn't--she wrote the right address, but they delivered it to the wrong one. Now, the person who it was delivered to didnt send it back to UPS for re-delivery to me or whatever. So, my question is, IF this person that it was wrongly delivered to opened it, would that be illegal? (and official proof like from the UPS website or something would really be appreciated too, btw)

sometimes i have gotten mail that was addressed to another person and either the same or different address and i opened it without looking at the address... what good reason would anyone have to open someone elses mail on purpose? The unintentional fault is the deliverer not the receiver of your package, though if the receiver realized the package was not theirs it would seem very reasonable to me for them to notify UPS of their error... remember you are not in heaven yet and there are selfish, greedy, unthinking ... and some very busy people in our earth... forgive the person and ... Notify UPS of your findings
