At dest sort facility?

So I order the LG Vortex from Verizon off their website on a Thursday Morning (around 10 in the morning to be really exact). I live not so far from Washington, DC. (Montgomery County). Very excited about my new phone, so I decided to track it today and it says its at DEST SORT FACILITY in DULLES,VA all weekend. What does that mean. And it said it would be here Monday by 7pm. Can it come before 7pm and what if I am unable to be home to pick it up?
