Why haven't I received my package from USPS?

Can you track a package from USPS if you have no receipt or tracking numbeR?

• i recently sent out a small package to holland with the cheapest form of shipping that has no tracking number. (it was chosen by the buyer on ebay) this was around the 5th of may. they are saying they havent received the package yet. i dont have the receipt, and i was wondering if there was any way USPS could still find out where the package is. or if anyone knows how long shipping like this can take. the buyer is being really impatient

  There is no way that a package sent as First Class Mail International can be tracked. There is no tracking and the USPS will not investigate any inquiry on FCMI. Even with the receipt, there is no tracking on FCMI Unfortunately, the buyer may be one of the dishonest ones and simply saying they didn't get something is a common scam. If you allowed them to pay thru Paypal, you are really in a bind. The buyer can get all of their money back whether they have the package or not just by saying they never got it. You have no way to show that they did.
