Can you use a check of wells fargo to bank of america?

I have a debit card account with bank of america. Im getting paid with checks and i want to know if i can change it to money in bank of america. The guy is paying me with wells fargo checks. can i go to bank of america and exchange the check to money even though its from wells fargo?
