Can i pick up a package from the post office without a letter?

i missed a package delivery and was left a note....can i go to the post office and pick up the package even though i lost the note...can i just show my ID and ask if i have any mail??

yes with a PHOTO id that is goverment or state issued. just explain what you just said! who can hang around for deliveries?

I'm sure many lose that pick-up letter, just be prepared to show them several ID's, picture ID and something to prove that is you and your address. There shouldn't be too much problem if you can prove you are that person.
