Is working at a call center hard?

Working in a call center for 5 years!?

  • Would you quit working at a call center at the age of 24 if you had been there for 5 years of your life. I mean 5 YEARS! That's a long time. Is a job worth your health/mental stability even if it meant you needed it to pay bills etc. What would you do? Quit/Stick. Everyone who works in a call center knows how diabolical and soul draining it is.

  • Answer:

Yes, it is extremely soul draining and stressful. Have you tried taking a vacation first? You may just need a major time away from the environment. If working in a call center isn't what you want to do long term ( I mean working your way up in the company ), then it's perfectly okay to look for work elsewhere. You probably have great customer service skills since you've been there so long and that will be a big plus in the job market.

look for a new job.. put alot of energy into finding 1 ( 1 where you can work your way up would be a bonus ) once you have found one then quit your job... unless unemloyment payment is enough to get ya by until you find 1
