How do i find babysitting Jobs?

How can I find babysitting jobs in my area?

• I'm 15 years old and I want to get a job. Even though I might be able to find a job with a grocery store or clothing store, I really enjoy working with children. When I lived in an apartment complex, I would babysit all the time. These days, though, I live in a townhouse community where the residents are mostly elderly and their kids have gone off to college. I have a lot of friends who babysit, but their 'employers' don't know other parents who might want a babysitter. It's summertime, so I'm available almost anytime, but I don't know how to find available families/parents. I live in the Gaithersburg/ Rockville/ Potomac area of Maryland, so anywhere within this area would be acceptable. Any help at all would be amazing.

  You could put up flyers or talk to a school or daycare center. However, I still can't find anyone to babysit around here, so I just work online, then I can do that whenever I want and not get tied up.
