• In July, 2005 I left a guitar at a store on consignment. when I went to the store on November 5th 2008 I noticed the store is going to be under new management. I asked about my guitar and they couldn't find any record of it, even though I had the printout that they originally gave me. They supposedly passed the message on to the previous owner and I leave my number for a callback but I never hear from anyone. I called again 3 weeks later. Again they tell me that they can't find any record and tell me they will call back but I never hear from anyone. A lawyer tells me that first it must be established that the guitar did exist which I thought the paper they gave me was proof. What grounds do I have to sue the store for the amount of the guitar?
