Is it too difficult to get a job at the post office?

Did I get the job at the post office?

  • I applied at the post office about a year ago, two days ago they called me up out of the blue and asked me if I was still interested in being a mail carrier. She told me how much I would be making, and that I would work anywhere from 40 to 65 hours a week. I took my driving test today and passed and I took my drug test, haven't got the results yet but I don't do drugs so I know I passed. I haven't herd back from them yet and was wondering do you guys think I should put my two weeks in at my current job, or should I hang tight for a bit?

  • Answer:

Hang tight! Is this a career position? Is it for a transitional or casual position? I would check it out first. They could still take a few weeks to get back to you. Even if it is for career, you still have an 89 day probation period. I would advise you to be ready to work like you have never before. Good Luck!
