No, I think they might ask you to fill out the application and take the test too. The test has multiple parts so it takes long. Maybe you get to train on that day too. It's not that bad

you fill out paper work watch safety videos and you get trained thats if your store trains you and doesnt just throw you on the sales floor or register like they like to do it cuz they are too damn lazy! basically ull start to work that day...good luck i worked there 3 years tooooo long!!!! it freakin sucks! good luck on bpps batteries birthdays and credit cards!!!! (u'll know when u start working)
