Where's my mail package?

Shipping a package through mail question PLEASE...?

  • I wanna ship a package through mail. The package contains expensive items. However, I want to send this package anonymously to my friend (I don't want her to know it's from me). How can I send it to her w/out adding my address and would STILL be able to receive back the package if not mailed successfully? In other words, if the package has not been able to be sent successfully to her, can I receive back my package if I didnt include my address? Thanks.

  • Answer:

You can't have it both ways with the post office, but you might consider a private delivery service. They can mark the package with a special code. The number would be traceable back to you. The other person would not know of the sender. It may cost a few bucks more, but will work for you.

You can just take your chances but you can't insure it so I don't know about your plan. No return address is tricky. be careful. could you have another friend's return address posted on it someone she doesn't know but you do so that person could get it back if something happens? ...........

How on earth do you expect to receive the package back if there is no return address on it. Post Office employees do not yet have magic powers of deduction
