Target Hiring Process?

I had an interview last friday with Target. I went in thinking they were interviewing me for a Presentation Team Member position, but my 2nd interview, the interviewer asked me If I would consider a Cashier position (She liked my personality and the way I was always smiling and laughing). I wasn't sure if she offered me the position (Considering i read a lot about how most people are offered the position right away). But, the 2nd interviewer told me to come back Monday (which is tomorrow!) at 8:30 am to do a background and drug test. Does that mean I was offered the job? I wasn't sure why I wasn't allowed to do a drug test that following day, but I'm just slightly confused... and Anxious! lol
