Is amazon (website) safe?

I want to know if buying things from amazon is safe. I see items and im not sure if il get it or if its real.

amazon the site itself it VERY safe. if you buy directly from amazon you'll get amazing service and a great return policy. on the other hand 3rd parties can sell on amazon which of whom maybe questionable. so if you are buying from *amazon* you are pretty safe if you are buying from a 3rd party seller on amazon be smart!
