When will USPS deliver the package?

    Parcels do not sit in the Post Office for days waiting to be delivered. People get fired for that, it's called Willful Delaying of the Mail. After it's scanned as arrived, it gets sorted by a clerk to the route that you live on. After that it depends on what service the shipper used as far as what is being scanned. If it was leaking anything or in anyway suspicious it may be held. Look through your mail from the past few days for a little peach colored form called a 3849 that would mean you have to go and pick it up because no one was home or it was unsafe to leave it there. It still should have been scanned attempted either way. You can also call the po and talk to your carriers supervisor. If you ask for the Postmaster it's like asking for the sheriff. They are always busy. Besides, the supervisor will know more.

I'm experiencing the same scenario at the moment. Don't worry, the "arrival at unit" status means your package has arrived at your local post office, not your house. Depending on how close the post office unit is to your residence, it may be a few more days until the post office ships it to your house.

If it said it arrived at unit on Nov. 5th I would definitely call to find out what is up....It shouldn't take that long. I just sent a package from Georgia to NJ and it only took 3 days, so being that it was sent and delivered in the same state I would assume that you would have gotten it already...Call them
