Which bank is a good bank to open an account?Wells Fargo, bank of america or Washington mutal?

    considering the current financial situation, it would be best to open an account with a small local bank in your neighborhood. the reason for that is because many of the smaller banks didnt give out risky loans like the bigger banks did. because of that we, the taxpayers, had to bailout big banks. so F those banks that helped screw up our economy. but if you are looking for something with many locations and many available atms, i suppose a big bank would be better for you. anyway just make sure that the bank you go with is FDIC insured. thats about it.

I would say Bank of America. I had alot of problems with other banks and the last bank I was with was bb&t. I switch over to Bank of America and i have not had a problem since. Plus the online banking there is the best & it does not cost you to use. There ATM's are better than other ATM's becouse you can do so much more than get money from them. Give them a try.

wells fargo is the bank your looking for . I dont really care for them but they are not going to plunge. In times like these you need an account you know is going to be there.
