Star Wars/Star Trek/ Dr Who themed hotel rooms?

  • Does anyone know if there are Star Trek, Star Wars or Dr. Who themed hotel rooms in the UK? If you know of rooms themed in this way anywhere else in the world, I would still like to know/hear from you. Thanks for all your help.

    Sadly, I wasn't able to find any. However, I don't think it would be possible, as all the images from those productions are trademarked, and any hotel would not be allowed to profit from use of those images (without specific consent, which I doubt would ever be given). So, I'm sure some hotel somewhere has a "space" or "sci-fi" theme, but it would have to be generic, not specific (as that would be trademark infringement). * Edited to add * Well, I spoke to soon, check this out: http://www.wired.com/culture/lifestyle/multimedia/2008/12/gallery_geek_hotels :-)

The Olde Bull at Barton Mills does themed evenings - and I am sure that they would do that for you if you wanted - it is always worth a try! Barton Mills is in Suffolk just outside of Mildenhall and close to Newmarket - I think that it is www,oldebullinn.co.uk - but if not, just Google it - it's an excellent pub, hotel and restaurant!
