When will my package arrive?

I am anxiously waiting for my package to arrive. Is was mailed First-Class USPS, and when I look up the tracking number it simply states original scan 11/29, and package left CA on 11/30. With UPS they show the status of the package every day. Does this mean that the package was somehow delayed, and may be a few more days? Or could it show up today or tomorrow even though tracking doesn't show that it's close to my house?
