Is it easy to find a Job in Miami Beach?

Is it easy to find a job in myrtle beach sc?

  • I am thinking about relocating to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I would like to know if there are any full time jobs available up there.

  • Answer:

Our highest employing industry is hospitality. Those are jobs like hotel desk, room cleaning, waitress, cook, etc. and aren't known to pay very well. But, there are plenty of those jobs here. There are 1600 places to eat (and cook or serve food) here. Our next highest employing industry is retail. Those are the cashier and customer service jobs and they don't pay well either. But, there are plenty of those jobs here. Our single largest employer in Horry County SC is WalMart. Scary thought... We also have more strippers and escorts per capita than any other community in NC, SC, or Ga. In the summer we have more strippers in the Myrtle Beach area than the entire rest of the two Carolinas combined. If you happen to want to work in that industry. We're a very popular retirement destination and as a result have more health care facilities and nursing homes per capita than most communities our size. If you happen to work in health care (especially nursing) then there are plenty of jobs. Those old retirees also need accountants and attorneys more than younger people do - so, we have jobs for accountants and lawyers too. There is no real industry (factories) or agriculture here so if that's your thing this won't be the place to be. If you'd like to start your own business though, we're ripe with opportunities and people to sell to - we just don't have any financing for you. Construction, banking, insurance, and real estate are just about dead except property management (not a bad job) and condo sells (you don't wanna do that). The arts scene (performing and applied) is just coming back alive from the recession - it's not great but there's work. School teachers aren't having much luck finding work here either, seems every teacher in two states wants to come to the beach. So, yes there are some full-time jobs. Just depends on what you do for a living. You might want to find the job before you move here.

No it is not. And many of the jobs are seasonal. I suggest you find a job first before you relocate. http://www.simplyhired.com/a/local-jobs/city/l-Myrtle+Beach,+SC

There are full time jobs available in any area. What job you can do depends on your skills. To find out what is available there look at some job ads on the internet or call a temp agency there.
