I shipped a Priority Mail envelope with the US Post Office on friday morning. When will the receiver get it? I mailed it on Friday morning 1/20/2012 from Florida going to Illinois. I believe Priority mail is 2-3 days with moth mail being delivered in 2 days. If I shipped it on Friday morning, does sunday count as a transport day and does this mean that the receipient (receiver) will get it on Monday?

Answer:
You will be lucky if it gets there by Monday. Tuesday is a bit more reasonable. The weather has been bad also. Many flights into and out of Chicago were canceled the last couple of days.

They would get it on Monday because Saturday counts with USPS. The weather hasn't been that bad.
