Are There Legitimate Online Jobs?

  • I am a college student with foot disorder that causes pain all the way from my feet to the base of my neck, however i do not qualify for disability and my current job is standing for 9 hrs straight. I hate my job and my co-workers always leave slack for me to pick up. Are there any legitimate online jobs so i can work from my computer with flexible hours to still attend college? I tried putting apps all over for desk jobs but i am still in college no degree and i live in Michigan where jobs a few and far in between.

    Well there are online jobs but I feel it is really difficult for you to find one, as there are lots of scam jobs out there. There is very little to distinguish between a fake one and a real one. So I think you can go for some local company that gives work to complete at your own place or find some referral from some known one and opt for the same company.

Depending on your background, you could consider medical transcription, coding or billing. I was a medical transcriptionist working from home. Many transcriptionists get their training through a course of study while others carry their medical terminology knowledge wit.h them from other health related fields. You would need to get the terminology down, and then get started. Many companies want experience so there's a catch-22. However, doctors and hospitals may be hiring, and after a time you can work from home as many transcriptionists do.
