How do you reply to feedback left on ebay?

How to revise feedback left for an eBay buyer?

  • I sold a dress off of eBay and the buyer paid me through Paypal. I got the message from Paypal saying I'd been paid, so I went ahead and shipped the item and left the customer positive feedback. I logged into Paypal today and I got a message saying the payment was being held until the item was confirmed shipped. I'd already shipped the item and the courier has confirmed that the package had been signed for today. Is this the customer's fault? The customer isn't replying to my emails and messages. If it turns out she's a fraudster, how can i change the positive feedback I left for her? I don't want anyone else to get duped. Thanks much. :)

Bunniesareevil, I really dislike the fact that eBay changed their feedback policy a few years ago. And your case is just an example why I hate it. As sellers, we only have two choices in which to leave feedback. We can either leave positive feedback (like you did) or leave no feedback at all. Because of eBay's efforts to increase market share (make more money) they have favored buyers over sellers. This simply means sellers CANNOT leave neutral or negative feedback for the buyer. However buyers can leave neutral or negative feedback for sellers. I'm assuming you already know this. So to answer your question, you can't change the feedback you left, but you can do this. Have you heard of the Feedback Forum? It's a place where eBay allows you to follow up feedback left for eBay members. I left the web address in the resource box below. When you get there, look to the right and find "Feedback Tools", then look for a clickable link called "Follow up to Feedback left." once you click on that link you'll have to be logged into eBay to access it, but once you're in, you'll be able to see all of the feedback you've left for buyers. Just find your buyer and click on the follow-up link to the right and say what you have to say. By the way, try to keep it clean okay? Hope this helps!
