Who delivered the Gettysburg's address?

Tracking my USPS Package...says it's been delivered...to an address in another state?!?!?

  • I ordered a hat to be shipped to my address in SOUTH Carolina. I have been tracking the item on the USPS website, and under "Status of the Item" it reads "Delivered." According to the USPS website, such a status will only appear when the item has been shipped to it's FINAL RECIPIENT. The USPS website says that it has been delivered... to an address in NORTH Carolina. That's not even in the right state! At first I thought that the package was simply in a layover on it's way to South Carolina, but the status reads "Delivered" which (according to the USPS) means it's reached it's final destination. Does anyone have much experience with tracking orders with USPS to know what this means? If my package was indeed shipped to the wrong address in the wrong state, how should I go about fixing this? Thanks!

The package wasn't lost, it most likely was addressed wrong. Although how they would have put down the wrong zip along with the wrong state. Check back with the sender to see where they sent it. Then the sender will have to refund your money or send you another item, it wasn't your fault the item was sent to the wrong address.
