  I am not sure where you live but an easy way would be to print some copies of your resume, go for a walk handing them out to local places you would have interest working for. Bring a pen as well in case they want you to fill out a job application instead. When you go in a business, ask to talk to the person in charge of hiring, present yourself and your interest in working part-time(working for sports money or education is always good), shake this person's hand before you leave. Bringing a pad to write details would also be good to mark down notes...name of the place, who you gave the application to, date you went and other important details. One week after applying, give them a call, mention your name, that you applied a week ago and ask where they are in their hiring process! You will probably get more than one job offer!
