What's it like as a transitional employee for the post office?

I'm a UPS employee we are giving work to the post office that takes work away from me?

  • Our hub gives about 3 or more routes to the post office and they arent PO Boxes.... If the post office is going under then it's time to do so I shouldn't get layed off at my company to save the post office... Pay your bills online Eveyone recieve online statements and email....it's time to accept that times have changed

    If you're a UPS, FedEx, or other mail/letter carrier other than USPS, you'll be fine. I'm wondering why the Feds are not bailing out USPS? 200 plus mail processing centers to close? Guess USPS will be offering early retire to many. I'm also wondering why the Feds aren't adding additional stimulus toward education?

I retired from UPS, they are constantly cutting costs and trying to pay less union employees. I guess there isnt much you can do about it. If you survive until retirement it will all be worth it. I retired at age 52. When you are full time check into a 15 year home loan and pay it off b4 you retire before your knees and back go out.
