Can Po boxes be used to recieve adult materials?

The post office where we recieve our mail burnt last night- we had a PO box, so what to do about our mail?

• We heard this morning that the post office which we have our PO box at burnt last night. I've asked my mother, who is a letter carrier, how this will affect our PO box, but she wasn't sure. She is going to ask in the morning so that we know what to do about the situation, but I was just wondering if anyone here knew. She said she is pretty sure that the mail will be directed through the nearest post office, but was unsure what that meant for PO boxes because they have a limited number at each office. Does anyone have any insight on the situation?

  The mail will probably be sent to the nearest PO and delivered from there; for your situation, the PO may be able to have a box for you at the nearest PO, or hold it for you until it can be picked up..........your Mom should be able to get accurate info on Monday
