Can a 14 year old sign for a Fedex package?

Do you have to sign for a package with FedEx?

  • And if so is there like an age minimum to sign? because i'm 14 so whats the deal? And normally what time do the FedEx people come around? Morning or afternoon?

    nope. because my mom ordered lots of things for me online from aeropostale and it came on a day when i was at a friends and my mom was taking a shower and when she finished she found a box infront of the door that said fedex and it was my stuff. and they normally around 11am to 12pm in the morning. hope this helps.

IT depends on your location, and the truck it arrives on, here it either comes around 1 or later like 5 or 6. And as for signing, most normal packages do not need to be signed for, if its such thing as paintball gun, gun, or something like that it will be and over 18. and sometimes if someone has requested their be someone their to sign anyone their can sign just to prove it was recieved, and that person does not have to be over 18. only over 18 on special items, i've signed many times, but when my paintball gun came my mom had to sign and im 16 and was younger.

It depends on how it is shipped. FedEx charges the shipper an extra fee to require a signature. My company opts out of that. If it is shipped overnight or 2-day express then they usually do. They can come anytime.

the person whose name is on the item shouild sign for it... Fed works about 12 hours a day...........so they can come from 7 am to 7 pm...............
