Seattle Or Northwest Offshore Jobs?

What is the best way to search for jobs in the Seattle area?

  • I'm going to be moving to Seattle soon, and I have a friend that moved there only two weeks ago. Both of us are trying to search for jobs, but we just don't know the area yet. What are some of the best ways to find possible jobs?

  • Answer:

T.D.... A lot of people say craigslist is the way to go but the problem is SO many people search there. The best thing to do is sign up with a few temp agencies and let them do the work. You'll be suprised how quickly they call and place you somewhere. And if you do a good job you might go full time. I know temp work isn't always ideal (no insurance, hourly pay) but a lot of companies are hiring a lot of temps in this economy. So check the link for temp agencies in the Seattle area. I think Dave is absolutely correct. There are very good agencies in the area. Craigslist is very saturated. I posted an ad recently for a temp admin person and got well over 50 responses!!! Best of luck in Seattle!!
